Testosterone Replacement

Testosterone replacement therapy was found once again to be safe for men and their prostate health. This newer study is one of several in recent years demonstrating no link between prostate cancer and testosterone replacement. Testosterone replacement can help a variety of symptoms including fatigue, muscle weakness and size, erectile dysfunction, poor memory, and cardiovascular health. Reported at the 2015 American Urological Association, researchers used a meta-analysis of a variety of studies including 5091 patients with prostate cancer and 11,930 control subjects as well as 24 randomized placebo controlled trials of testosterone therapy that reported data on PSA and prostate cancer patients. Their findings found that testosterone replacement does not cause prostate cancer or increase PSA levels in men.
