Millions of women need relief from menopause symptoms…do you?
By 2015, nearly 50% of women will be in menopause. Symptoms significantly affect your quality of life. But they don’t have to.
Take charge of your health and sail through this season of life! The SOLUTION is bioidentical hormones.
Why does it make you feel so bad?
Menopause signals the end of childbearing. Unless a woman has had a hysterectomy or other medical treatment that causes early menopause, it is a gradual process.
Most women welcome the idea of no more periods, PMS and cramping that comes with them, but the reduction in hormones, especially estrogen, results in a host of other symptoms that can make women miserable.
Typically, between age 40 and 50, the ovaries gradually produce less estrogen, creating irregular menstrual cycles, hormone imbalance and menopausal symptoms. This is called perimenopause or premenopause. Menopause occurs when a woman has not had a menstrual period for one year. The average age is 51.

|Chemically altered substance, different from what your body produces, and therefore patentable (= $$$ for pharmaceutical companies).||Natural substance, identical in structure and function as those produced in the human body and therefore not patentable.|
|Premarin is conjugated equine estrogen (from horse urine). Studies show consistently that “it may not be good for the brain”.||17B-Estradiol (bioidentical hormone) patients scored higher than Premarin patients on executive function and working memory, attention and mental processing.|

Dr. Mark Stengler’s Approach
Author of 17 books, including Your Menotype, Your Menopause and Prescription for Natural Cures, Dr. Stengler has been in private practice for over 17 years and is sought after for his expertise in balancing women and men’s hormones.
“With my diverse training and experience,” says Dr. Stengler, “I tailor a hormone balancing program for each patient. This involves dietary recommendations and specific hormone balancing supplements. It may also involve a prescription for bioidentical hormones. In my opinion, good health and vitality are not possible when hormone imbalance is present.”
How does Dr. Stengler diagnose and treat hormone imbalance?
An office visit is required to assess the patient’s history and symptoms. Laboratory testing is performed to identify hormonal imbalances. Telephone consultations are available for patients who live outside of San Diego County. However, prescription hormones require an in-office consultation.
Dr. Stengler performs a much more thorough hormone analysis than most conventional doctors with lab testing, especially blood and salivary hormone testing to identify imbalances, along with the patient’s symptoms. Lab tests can be conveniently performed at his clinic or your local lab and results can be sent directly to Dr. Stengler for his evaluation and recommendations.

Is this treatment covered by insurance?
Dr. Stengler’s office does not accept insurance. However, he is offering a $50 discount for hormone consultations. Lab tests are usually covered if you have PPO insurance. Check with your healthcare insurer to see if your ofice visit or lab tests can be reimbursed.
